Career Highlights

QUB: Graduated with a B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering in 1966, and an M.Sc. in Applied Science in 1968 from Queens University Belfast. Was awarded the RAeS Hafner Award for VTOL research.

IBM (UK) Ltd: Installed the first IBM 3750 electronic PABX in the UK. Recipient of three systems engineering performance awards.

AGT: Installed the first IBM 3800 electronic printing system in Western Canada to achieve major savings. (AGT is now Telus).

DMR Group Inc: Managed DMR’s first large development project in Western Canada. Assigned to DMR Australia to manage a key project and establish knowledge transfer.

DMR Group Inc: Appointed Director of Delivery Management for Western Canada. Established project and quality management practices. Integrated outsourced project teams. (DMR is now Fujitsu Consulting).

Intergraph Canada Ltd: Appointed as National Delivery Manager. Returned services business to profitability. Implemented risk and delivery management. (Intergraph is now a division of Hexagon).

TMI: Established TMI in 1997 and has since delivered Consulting and Training Services to satisfied clients in Canada and world-wide.

MRU: Senior Instructor from 2002 to 2014 with the PM Certificate Program of the Faculty of Continuing Education and Extension, Mount Royal University.
